Merry Christmas

We wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Jingle Bells Jingle Bells

After singing Jingle Bells all summer Lola is finally ready for her debut.

The Shampoo

Lola's first trip to the hair salon went flawlessly. No tears, no fuss! And she loves her new do! Not sure how long it will last though. She's getting a crash course on becoming a Diva. No more rolling around on the floor.....

The 3rd William's Sister

Look out Venus and Serena, there is a new champ in training! Lola's cousin uncle LeJuano purchased a racket for Lola last xmas, we've been practicing in the house but this is Lola's first lesson. Good Job Lola!

Tricked and no Treats

Lola begged and i do mean begged to wear "Belle" from Beauty and the Beast. But the day of her costume parade, she "decided" she was going to go as Lola! And that's exactly what she did. Even after going to school I thought maybe she'll want to wear her costume...wrong!!! Guess who'll she be next year?

Lola and Joey

Our Cousin Steve got a new dog recently, Joey, who is 3/4 Jack Russel and 1/4 Pit. And he is clearly more Jack than Pit. Very frisky 5 month old Joey, at first took his time to get to know me and lola...(hmmm that sounds familiar) only to fall head over heals. A bit too hard if you ask me...i think he mistook lolas pig tail for another dog. He's 5 months and hasnt been fixed.....

Babies in Cleveland

On our way up to the mountains of Georgia we stopped in Cleveland GA to visit Babyland, the Hospital and Nursery for Cabbage Patch Kids.

Cabbage Patch Birth and Delivery

Mother tree delivers thousands of cabbage patch kids every year and this amazing institution nurses these new borns and finds suitable homes. We might have to return at some point and get a brother or sister for Lola's new baby.

Meet Marie Sheron

Babyland had many surprises. From the Delivery room to the Nursery, to the cloth dolls that started at $300 bucks! we managed to find a reasonably priced doll and her name is Marie Sheron.

Birthday Bike

We've been potty training for almost a full year, but we got a bit extreme this summer. Lola was promised a bike if she was potty trained in time to start school. And that was a gift i didnt mind purchasing.
So long pull-ups!!!

Atlanta Childrens Museum

Despite the rainy weekend, we managed to stay dry at the childrens museum. Not quite the Brooklyn Childrens Museum, but its a close 2nd. Lola got busy painting, playing in moldable sand, understanding how air and suction works, and managed to catch a fish or 2...

Double Slide

In exchange for eating all their food, we took Lola and her new bud Ivan to the park. Believe it or not they are born 3 days apart, yet Ivan is sooo much larger than Lola....go figure.

one plus one is....eight?

we are working on some simple math...more memorization than anything we have a long drive to school each morning so its nice to be able to have her undivided attention.......somedays its not so simple...

Easter Sunday

We had a lovely time at church on Easter Sunday. Lola learned about the baby Jesus over Christmas and Sunday we talked about the Resurrection of Christ. Rev King allowed us to let a thousand balloons go after church and Lola reluctantly let hers go. She announced later in the day that she wanted to return to church. I'm guessing that had something to do with the balloons....

Easter Egg Hunt

Lola managed to be the 2nd biggest winner at the Easter Egg Hunt. Her cousin Jayden was the big winner!! But we were all winners on Saturday, good food, and family and perfect weather!

I can do it by myself!

Lola is becoming more and more independent and really wants to do EVERYTHING by herself. She recently shocked me when she announced she could put her coat on by herself....i was lucky to catch her in the act.

Thank you God for Everything!

22 Degrees in Atlanta....

Look who begged to go outside, she saw 3 imaginary snowmen and needed to go build her own...although, in typical Lola fashion, she doesnt like things on her hands...including snow...so it took her a minute to get use to it.

Oh Mister Sun

oh mister sun, sun mister golden sun, please shine down on meee of mister sun, sun mister golden sun, please shine down, please shine down, please shine down on meeeeeee......

Christmas Morning

Lola really had a grand time opening presents Christmas morning, including all of the great presents in her stocking.

Christmas Eve at Aunt Pats

Christmas day is just 12 hours away, somehow lola managed to open presents early and make out like a bandit. So much for my 3 gifts rule.......she seemed to enjoy all of her presents especially her tennis racket from Uncle-Cousin LeJuano.
