Santa Clause is Coming to Town

Had a very shiny Nose! We had a fun afternoon and luckily the weather held up, 70 degrees in December! I love it!! The very loud voice you hear is Benny!

Trick or Treat

Trick or Treat! Fun-filled night of trick or treating, up and down the hills in Georgia. i had no idea GA was so hilly. Now i know why people drive to trick or treat.

Happy Halloween Princess Lola/Belle

As promised, I didnt have to buy a new costume this year. Luckily Lola is still very much in love with Princess Belle and was more than happy to wear her this year. She was the "belle of the ball" as usual.

International Day at Primrose

Every year Primrose has an International Day, each class gets to represent a different country. This year Lola's class got the Bahama's and each student made masks, here is lola parading with her mask. After the parade is over, a band played a little Reggea and Lola popped right when asked for audience participation. She clearly loves the stage.

New Leapster

Lola got some really good bday gifts. One of her faves is this Leapster. Luckily for her its educational. And fun too!

Another one of Lola's Bday Gifts were some Hello Kitty Ear Muffs.

First Week of Pre-K

Some days I marvel at my little girl. Cant believe she just turned 4! And cant believe she'll be in kindergarten next year. Lola's school requires uniforms M-Thur, which can be a life saver in the morning. Miss Independent has a style of her own and knows what she wants to wear to school.

Mythical Creatures Exhibit

Mermaids, Dragons, Unicorns and Pegusus were displayed at the museum. Lola thought these animals only appeared in her books, it was fun to show her these mythical animals.

Happy Birthday Sofi

happy 5th birthday Sofi. Lola and Sofi danced together last year and have become good friends! They had a blast at Sofi's party!

Museum of Natural History

I dont think lola realized we were going to see real dinosaurs, she thought they were "pretend" dinosaurs as she called them. So she was happily shocked to see how BIG they were!

Bowling Alley

Lola went bowling for the first time and managed to score a 60 on her first go round..

Painted Eggs

i remember when you used food coloring to paint eggs, now its so fancy the eggs have to be warm!! and you paint with gold foil and stickers! We had a good time and painted a few good ones.

I later read Lola's book of bible stories and explained how Easter Eggs have little to do with the death of Christ.

Egg Hunt 2011

We had a busy Easter Weekend! But somehow the kids managed to muster enough enough energy for the Easter Egg Hunt. With a little help Lola managed to score a basket full of eggs, filled with candy and money. As you can see the competition was fierce with more seasoned hunters.

Pre-Ballet Rehearsal

Lola's been working hard at ballet. She seems to really love music and dance. And has developed alot of rhythm. She's learning to express her softer side on a song that Mommy was listening too....

The big recital is next month!

i whip my hair back and forth

we headed to Jackson last weekend for baby Bryce's baby shower and Lola got the party started by being a dancing queen. I'm not sure where she learned these moves, but definitely not from ballet.

Ringling Brothers

We had a busy social month which ended with the circus. Lola loved the circus and has already requested a return trip. Lola has had a rough week, she had strep throat and scarlet fever and has been a trooper throughout the week. She spotted a pony as we walked out the door and I was happy to buy it for her.

No Room for Me in MY BED

Although Lola has gotten alot better about sleeping the night in her bed. Typically she comes in my bed around 4 am, with all of her friends, blanket, pillow pet etc. And typcially there is no room for me! Im looking into getting a bigger bed.

Ballet Warm-Up

I'll try to get some sound next time. But they dont allow the parents in the room any more.....but I'm happy to see they are learning a good warm up and proper conditioning. Lola's been dancing around happily all weekend.
