Hark the Herald Angels Sing

The yearly Christmas recital was really nice again this year.  Lola had a few stumbles but she has been working exceptionally hard.  The piece was actually quite difficult.

Smyrna Tree Lighting Treble Tones Performance

The Treble Tones performed at the annual Smyrna Tree Lighting last night.  They didn't have a ton of time to practice, but it didn't sound like it.  They did a great job!!  I really thought they sounded wonderful!

The crew is all in chorus.  They had their first performance last week at Cambell Middle.  Lola is a soprano!  They are called the Treble Tones but I call them the Trouble Tones...
They did a fantastic job last week!  Ms Mungin the music teacher has to pack a lot of patience!

Hogwarts Halloween

In case you didn't know Lola is having a mild obsession with Harry Potter.  So went old school and made her costume. It came out great!  She did a lot of the cutting and some of the sewing!  We celebrated early at Breas Halloween Party!

Summer Fun

We had a wonderful summer! And ended it with a nice trip to Orlando.  We spent a couple of days at Cocoa Beach where Lola thought it would be funny to pick the nose of a totem pole.

We were joined by Auntie LaShara Aunt Mary and Bryce who is now 5 going on 35!

Just before Auntie Lashara and Bryce and Aunt Mary headed back to Memphis and Jackson Lola and Bryce got free backpacks from a local retailer.
Lola starts 4th grade tomorrow!!!  She should look a little happier!?

Camp Merryweather

Girl Scouts hosted a Mother/Daughter camping weekend at Camp Merryweather.  2 nights in a cabin totally off mtje grid.  Luckily the weather was amazing!  It was a lot of hard unexpected work for the parents but the kids had a blast.  Canoeing, horseback riding, a night hike and overall sisterly love.
