1st Tennis Tournament

 Lolas first official USTA Tennis Tournament and she crushed it by being a finalist.  She lost 1 match but said next time she will come in first!

Silver Award Ceremony

 Lola earned her Silver Award and gave a speech at the ceremony honoring her and the other Scouts who earned their award!  Super Proud Momma!  Now she needs to start her Gold Award!

Silver Award Girl Scouts

 As a Cadette in the Girl Scouts, Lola has the opportunity to earn her Silver Award.  This is a long term project which needs to be at least 50 hours.  So many of you received her Text Message PSA's.  She had hoped to do in person voter registration but because of Corona we had to make some adjustments to an online campaign.

Her Troop recently participated in a Postcard campaign to get voters out to the polls!  

8th Grade 2020

 2020 has been quite the year!  Corona/Covid and hopefully the end of Trump!  Like everyone else we have to adjust to the new normal.  8th Grade is pretty much virtual so that requires Lola to be online every day all day.  We had a rough start but she's been a trooper.  We got her some computer glasses to reflect the blue computer light, but she seems to want to wear ALL the time!

Summer 2019

Lola had a super busy summer!  After earning straight A’s for 4th quarter of 6th grade, we spent a long weekend in Orlando with cousin Bryce and Auntie LaShara.  Lola was able to experience Hogwarts and we rode The Hulk over and over again!

Next Lola was off to Columbia on a school/mission trip.  The students/families collected clothing toiletries and linen to send to Columbia.  They painted a school cleaned trash off a beach and entertained some seniors.  They had an awesome experience!

Lola spent the rest of her sunmer in Ohio with Daddy the Stevens clan and bestie Celeste!

The Entertainer Piano Recital

Girl Scout Camping Wknd

Lola and her GScout Troop visited Tuskegee University where they learned about Booker T Washington and George Washington Carver.  The troop went hiking and white water rafting and biking.

Miami Open

We took a little time and visited Ft Lauderdale/Miami for Lola's first professional tennis match.  Wasnt the match we were hoping for (we really wanted a rematch between Osaka and Serena) but we like Barty!  It was nice to see her win!

Helping Out Hurricane Victims

Campbell Middle School is doing a drive for Hurricane Relief for Mexico Beach.  Lola took some of her own money to buy supplies and was super shocked to see how expensive Pampers cost!  Now you now why we were in such a huge rush for you to get potty trained Lola!

11th Bday Celebrations

Lola has been celebrating all month.  Grandpa took her to Medevil Times.  We all had a blast! 
Lola was sick all week leading up to her bday.  Poor baby.  She on the mend now.  We popped out for some cheesecake at Cheesecake factory on Friday.

Campbell Middle School

Lola walks to school daily with Ava, they wanted to show some independence.  Lola is really blossoming in Middle School.  

Lola finally got her locker 2 weeks after school started.  Things have changed in Middle School, kids are expected to carry most of their books during the day without a backpack.  They are only allowed to go to their lockers after 4th period.  Too many silly rules....

Lola decided she wanted a gold and white theme for the locker..Its not quite finished but shes off to a good start.  

5th Grade Graduation

Sleighbells 5k Take 2

After the epic snowstorm in December the 5k that Lola and Daddy had been training for was postponed to January.  It was approximately 23 degrees and 17 with the wind chill.  Things started off really good, great warm up and plenty of smiles.  Lola finished her first 5k, not in the time she wanted but she did finish.

Treble Tone Holiday Performances 2017

The 5th Grade Treble Tones have been uber busy with performances from the Smyrna Tree Lighting, a mini performance at Barnes and Noble to the 5th Grade Holiday Celebration.
