Bedtime Story by Lola's New BFF

After driving from Jackson,for Lola's bday, helping with the bbq, putting lola's bike together, playing blocks with her and reading one of her favorite bedtime stories. Lola annouced Uncle James was her best friend. I guess he deserved it....he put in alot of couch time to win her over....

A good afternoon at the beach

What a fun day we had at the beach in New York. The weather was perfect! And we had an amazing time fetching water so we could build sand castles.

Lola enjoys a good read. Auntie Lea, reads Lola a theatrical rendition of the Princess and the Frog. and as you can see Lola is captivated.

Atlanta Childrens Museum

Despite the rainy weekend, we managed to stay dry at the childrens museum. Not quite the Brooklyn Childrens Museum, but its a close 2nd. Lola got busy painting, playing in moldable sand, understanding how air and suction works, and managed to catch a fish or 2...

Double Slide

In exchange for eating all their food, we took Lola and her new bud Ivan to the park. Believe it or not they are born 3 days apart, yet Ivan is sooo much larger than Lola....go figure.

we are working on some simple math...more memorization than anything we have a long drive to school each morning so its nice to be able to have her undivided attention.......somedays its not so simple...
