Merry Kissmas

Our holiday photo shoot was a blast.  Lola really loves the camera and apparently the camera feels the same way. 

Early Voting

Before Trick or Treating we decided to go and early vote to beat the long lines.  We still had to wait 30 minutes to vote.  And as we approached the beginning of the line, Lola asks (super loud) Mommy we are going to vote for President Obama right in a crowded auditorium in Cobb County, in a Red State...I proudly answered Yes Sweetheart, we are voting for President Obama!

Princess Cleopatra

After a month of negotiating I was finally able to convice Lola that Cleopatra was indeed a Princess before she was Queen.  It was quite a campaign to convince her to be Princess Cleopatra instead of one of the Disney Princesses.  But she was finallly convinced and she was a complete show stopper.

Happy Halloween Cleo and 2 Zombies

If you know Lola you know what a scardy cat she is..it took her a minute to adjust to her friends Miles and Yousef in their full on Zombie costumes.  But she was able to understand it was just "pretend".  We stareted out a a kids party which was super cute complete with Thriller Video and then off to trick or treating.  The finale was a entire candy bar by the owners of the last house we hit.  Needless to say the kids were besides themselves..

Trampoline House Bday Fun

After watching the summer olympics we both fell in love with Gabby Douglas.  Lola has been doing cartwheels and handstands to anyone willing to watch.  So we thought it would be a good idea to take her to a trampoline house to sharpen her skills.  Daddy mentioned when we got there that kids get hurt at these places...now we know how...

Happy 5th Birthday Lola

What a fun day at Grandma Stevens.  Lola really enjoyed her bday party with her family.  Happy 5th BirthdayLola Magnolia.
