Happiest Place on Earth

To celebrate Lola's birthday we took a family trip to Disney and found out first hand why it's the happiest place on earth.  We really had a good time with Cousin Bryce and Auntie LaShara.  We had a character lunch with Winnie the Pooh and friends and shockingly Lola was not afraid of them.  She even hugged them all....

We went on several roller coaster rides which Lola really enjoyed.  So much that even today she puts her hands up in the car if we are riding up/down a hill.  We hope to return to Disney soon...

Happy Birthday Lola

After a lovely happy birthday serenade from Grandpa Dan Lola blew out her candle and opened a few gifts!  6 years old, I'm stil so amazed!

I think Doug and I were  more excited than Lola!  But here we are on the first day of class of the first grade at Teasley!

Roller Skating Queen

Lola waited patiently all week to go roller skating.  She woke up last Thursday morning saying she couldn't wait to go roller skating that evening.  It was her first adventure on skates, she only fell times, I thought she did pretty good!  Especially given the new contraption they have for kids to learn with these days.  We didn't have any of this stuff!!
