Ballet Recital 2014

Our little ballerina practiced very hard this season for this years performance.  One slight distraction but otherwise a wonderful performance!

Anchorwoman, i mean girl

Lola took a drama class this semester and really loved it.  She was cast as an anchorwoman and the plot thickens when an up and coming weather girl wants the coveted anchor position.

At 6 years old she has managed to move past the easy readers, 1st, 2nd grade readers and on to chapter books!  Great job Lola!   I'm so proud of you!

Piano Recital

Lola has been taking piano lessons since September.  Her teacher instructs the students on playing the piano, music theory as well as etiquette.

Teasley's First Grade Class w as asked to sing at the annual Christmas Tree Lighting.  Lola is on the 2nd row and is getting blocked a bit by the first row.  If you can find Preteka who is wearing a pink head band to the right of Ms. Chase, Lola is standing just behind her on the left.

Happiest Place on Earth

To celebrate Lola's birthday we took a family trip to Disney and found out first hand why it's the happiest place on earth.  We really had a good time with Cousin Bryce and Auntie LaShara.  We had a character lunch with Winnie the Pooh and friends and shockingly Lola was not afraid of them.  She even hugged them all....

We went on several roller coaster rides which Lola really enjoyed.  So much that even today she puts her hands up in the car if we are riding up/down a hill.  We hope to return to Disney soon...
