Thanksgiving Cruise

The Varnells are hoping to start a new family tradition of cruising at Thanksgiving.  We hope this will be the start of it!  We sailed on Princess and stopped in Grand Cayman and Cozumel.  Although Lola was bummed about not getting her passport stamped she/we had a really good time!

Getting ready for Christmas

We've had multiple talks about Santa and his "realness".  Lola says she understands he's not real but she just likes to pretend he exists.   She wrote and mailed a letter to Santa.  And she was a bit shocked that Santa came to the Christmas dinner at Grandpa's.  Hatless...and apparently Father Time is catching up with Santa he's wearing glasses!

Who Turns 8 in Paris

Lola that's who!
Birthday Cake at Angelina's.  Angelina's is a very famous chocolatier.  We popped in to sip their famous white hot chocolate.  Lola wanted some chocolate birthday cake.   Well you can see what is actually left of it.

Photo shoot at the Lourve.

Picture of the girls take a selfie in front of the Eifle Tower.

First Croque Monsier

Outside of Notre Damn

Lola wanted to know why this dogs face was blue.  I said Lola she's getting a facial.

On the carousel outside of Sacred Heart.

Lola outside of  Sacred Coeur (Heart).  We took the scenic walk in Mont Marte up the long winding streets to get to Sacred Heart.  We spent quite a bit of time inside the cathedral.  Lola was really amazed at how beautiful it was.  She said she wanted to live there.  I said oh like a nun?  She didn't know what a nun was.  So I explained that nuns are women who are married to God.  And they live at the Cathedral and worship him day and night.  She said God has a lot of wives!
